ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Guidelines

Updated July 1st, 2025

IMPULSE UNIVERSE and our family of events including ANIME Impulse, K-PLAY! FEST, Sneaker Expo, Collectors Expo, KTOWN Night Market and The EAT Show takes inclusivity and accessibility very seriously for all our event guests - regardless of age, ethnicity, gender or those with accessibility needs.

ADA COMPLIANT EVENT VENUES

All our event venues feature proper infrastructure that is accessible to guests requiring ramps, enlarged doorways or at least one designated entrance at least 32 inches wide, and at minimum one all-accessibility restroom. Our venues are selected and evaluated to ensure compliance with current ADA standards for public accommodations.

ACCESSIBLE PARKING & ACCESS

All our event venues have designated handicap parking spaces located as close as possible to accessible entrances. All guests who want to park in these spaces must have a valid Disabled Person Parking Placard or license plate displayed on their vehicle. All our event venues feature wheelchair-accessible entrances, restrooms, concession areas, and pathways throughout the event space. Emergency evacuation routes are also designed to be accessible.

RESERVED PROGRAMMING AREA

Our main stage will always have a designated 10x20 space near the side of the stage for individuals with special access requirements, especially for those who use wheelchairs or have mobility impairments. We always prioritize seating guests in this area before seating VIP and GA tier guests. Each event allows up to 2 friends or family members to accompany the special access guest within the reserved programming area at no additional charge.

VISUAL AND HEARING ACCESSIBILITY

For guests with visual impairments, our venues provide adequate lighting in walkways and accessible routes. Guide dogs and other state approved service animals are welcome throughout all areas of our events.

For guests with hearing impairments, we strive to provide clear sightlines to stages and programming areas from accessible seating locations. While not all programming may include sign language interpretation, we can work with guests who submit advance requests to explore available options.

SERVICE ANIMALS

Service animals are defined only as dogs or miniature horses that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. This does not extend to pets or emotional support animals, which are not covered under ADA. A service animal must be under the control of its handler at all times and must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless the person's disability prevents using these devices or these devices interfere with the service animal's effective performance of tasks. Service animals are permitted in all areas of our events where guests are normally allowed.

SENSORY CONSIDERATIONS

We recognize that some guests may have sensitivities to loud sounds, bright lights, or crowded spaces. While our events are naturally high-energy environments with music, lighting effects, and large crowds, we encourage guests with sensory concerns to contact us in advance. We can provide information about quieter areas within venues, expected sound levels, and lighting effects schedules.

DESIGNATED ADA RESPONSE STAFF

When at the event, look for our trained Accessibility Service Managers (ASM) wearing the designated badge to assist you! Before approaching any event staff member, please verify that they are one of our designated Accessibility Service Managers, as not all staff are trained in property ADA responsibilities. Identifying the right person ensures you receive the appropriate help for your accessibility needs. Our ASM can better assist with navigation, provide information about accessible facilities, and help coordinate any on-site accommodations.

REQUESTING SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS

We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations to ensure all guests can fully enjoy our events. If you require special accommodations beyond our standard accessibility features, please contact us at least 2 weeks in advance of the event date. All accommodation requests must be submitted in writing to our main email: info@impulseuniverse.com. Please include details about your specific needs and the event dates you plan to attend so we can work with you to provide appropriate assistance.
